I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Maureen Sullivan Design School. I am writing this letter regarding my life changing experience learning about floral design from Maureen and her staff.

I walked into her store to order flowers and noticed she was offering floral design classes. Having no Experience about floral design I was curious and asked about her introductory course. I took the intro course and was astonished that I would fall in love with flowers. I learned so much from Maureen that I decided to keep going and take all the courses she offered.

Maureen taught me the basic structure of design but most importantly to be confident and creative. We used the most beautiful flowers and the vases were chosen with thought and care. She encouraged us to find our own style.

I started my home studio 2 years ago “Quo Vadis Flowers”. I have been very busy making custom arrangements but specialize in wedding and events.

I am forever grateful to Maureen’s design classes. Thank you Maureen and staff.

After completing my training at Maureen Sullivan Floral Design School I started my wedding and event business November Blooms.

My business has taken me to all different events and venues all over the lower mainland and the Okanagan.

I’ve done weddings with 20 guests to over 200 and although at times it’s been challenging and stressful I have never regretted a minute of it, I mean who doesn’t want to work with beautiful flowers!

Maureen, Kathleen and Trish are extremely helpful, generous and very encouraging and their shop is gorgeous and very welcoming. This school is a MUST for anyone who is thinking of a career in floral design.
